Trip To Sudbury

So after I got the okay from the resident to travel. The date was chosen, my bags were packed and my parents and I left for Sudbury for 10 days, till my next appointment at the Fracture Clinic. Also my brand spanking new MacBook came in on time, I was guitty like a little school girl on Christmas morning! The trip was not too bad a little painful but the drugs helped, I just sprawled out in the back seat with a bunch of pillows and blankets, it was as though my parents had wrapped my in bubble wrap. It was also funny because on way back home my mom was little over tired and missed an exit, I was sitting the back seat thinking okay the exit is coming and she does not seem to be moving over. So I proceed to say "Our exit is coming up", "Our exit is coming up", "Our exit is coming up!!", "OUR EXIT IS COMING UP!!!" and we missed it. So an argument blew up and I just sat in the back seat shaking my head. It was all good as we got back on track in not time at all.

It was great to be back home at my parents house. The fun part was actually getting into the house as my parents have steps and well I have a walker. So with the help of parents and their neighbor I just used them as a human crutch. I slept for the first couple of days as I really was lacking sleep. It was great to just sit on their deck even if it was only for a couple minutes and get some fresh air as up this point I was unable to really leave my bed. Most of my time was spent watching all 5 seasons of Alias (Ohhhh Jennifer Garner...) and sleeping. I also got meet up with an old friend from high school and his fiance that I had not seen in quiet some time. They spoiled me with Tim Hortons as well which was great but it did remind me of smoking. Up to this point it had been 3 weeks that I had quit smoking and the cravings were not too bad. I guess you could say that they were passing thoughts if you will. Also sorry that I did not connect with rest of the high school gang from the reunion. However I may be making another trip to Sudbury in a couple weeks time after my next specialist appointment. So I will make sure to contact you guys (you know who you are).

So all in all the trip home was great I was able to get the rest that I really needed, worked hard on my physio exercises , continued to do my upper body workout and finished Alias (Ohhhh Jennifer Garner...)
