So I just back from my 5th visit at the fracture clinic and well the news is not all that great. After a long 3 hour wait and some x-rays mixed in there I found out that I need a second surgery. The portion of bone on the top and outside of my leg has not healed as we had hoped. So a bone autograft will be required to assist the bone in its healing process. So the surgeon but me on a waiting list and in possibly 3 to 4 months I will back on the operating table and back in bed for another 3 to 4 weeks. So another unplanned vacation (if that is what you want to call it??).

As I am not looking forward to going under knife for a second round I guess it is working towards my goal of having my hardware being removed from body and getting back to a normal life again.
